Yesterday was in the past and tomorrow may never come. What I have is today, now, the present moment, and I make the most of each and every one of them.
If I made a mistake yesterday, I know I cannot undo it. I avoid wasting my time worrying or fretting about it. Today, I can use what I learned from it to move forward toward my goals. Yesterday it may have been a mistake, but today, it is new knowledge.
I make goals for the future and plan for tomorrow, but today is what matters. Today’s tasks are the only ones I concern myself with, and I focus on this day’s accomplishments. This makes each day a productive one and keeps me on track.
Living in the moment gives me the most focus when I am working on a task and the most pleasure when I’m not.
The joy of life is found in the present moment and I allow myself to receive all of it. Yes, I take time to stop and smell the roses because the roses are what fill that moment when I am near them. I take in their beauty with all my senses and enjoy it to its fullest.
I strive to let the beauty of the moment envelop me in its caress. I choose the joy!
Today, I plan to let myself discover the power of each moment and experience the benefits of truly living in the here and now.
